How Much Does TikTok Pay in 2026? Creator Rewards, Brand Deals and More

TikTok pays about $0.40-$1.00 per 1,000 qualified views in the Creator Rewards Program. Here is how payouts work, who qualifies, and the bigger income streams.

The short answer

Through the Creator Rewards Program, TikTok pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views for US audiences, and often $0.05 to $0.25 for audiences elsewhere. Most full-time TikTok creators, however, earn more from brand deals, TikTok Shop affiliate commissions and LIVE gifts than from views.

Creator Rewards Program rules

To join, you need:

  • 18 years or older
  • 100,000 video views in the last 30 days
  • A personal account in a supported country, in good standing

Only qualified views pay: views on original videos longer than one minute, from the For You feed, that are not ads or paid promotion. Views from the Following feed and repeat views by the same person count less or not at all.

What changes your rate

  • Audience country: US, UK, Canada and Australia pay the most.
  • Watch time and completion: longer average view duration raises the rate.
  • Originality: reposts and lightly edited clips earn little.
  • Search value: videos that answer searched questions get a higher multiplier.

Because of the one-minute rule, many creators now script videos at 61-90 seconds. Check your length with the Script Timer.

Example payouts

Monthly qualified viewsUS audienceGlobal mix
100,000$40 – $100$20 – $50
1,000,000$400 – $1,000$200 – $500
10,000,000$4,000 – $10,000$2,000 – $5,000

The bigger income streams

Brand deals. A common range is $5 to $25 per 1,000 followers per sponsored video. A creator with 50,000 engaged followers can charge $250 to $1,250, more with usage rights. The Instagram Money Calculator uses the same logic and works for TikTok rate cards.

TikTok Shop affiliate. Commissions of 5-20% on products tagged in your videos. In product niches this often beats Creator Rewards.

LIVE gifts and subscriptions. Viewers send gifts during LIVEs; TikTok keeps a large share, but regular streamers build steady income.
