These are Unicode characters, not real fonts, so they paste anywhere: Instagram bio and captions, TikTok, X, WhatsApp, Discord. Screen readers may read some styles letter by letter, so keep important text in normal characters.
Private by design: your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded.
How to use
- 1 Type your name, bio line or caption in the box.
- 2 Scroll the list: every style updates live.
- 3 Click Copy next to the style you want.
- 4 Paste it into your Instagram name, bio, caption or comment.
How Instagram fonts actually work
Instagram does not let you change fonts. These styles are Unicode characters that look like bold, italic or script letters. Because they are regular text characters, they can be pasted into any app: Instagram, TikTok, X, WhatsApp, Discord, YouTube comments. The device renders them using its own font support, which is why a handful of styles may show as boxes on very old phones.
Where fancy fonts help and where they hurt
Fancy text works well for a bio headline, a name field or a short caption hook. It hurts in two places: searchability (Instagram cannot match 𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 with 'fitness', so keep keywords in plain text) and accessibility (screen readers may read some styles letter by letter). Use one style for emphasis, not for whole paragraphs.
Most popular styles for bios
Bold sans and small caps read cleanly on phones. Script and double-struck give an aesthetic look that is popular in beauty and lifestyle niches. Bubble and squares work for playful brands. Strikethrough is often used for price drops or 'old me / new me' captions.

Questions
Why does a style show as boxes or question marks?
The viewer's device lacks that Unicode block. Bold, italic, script and small caps are the safest across devices.
Can I use fancy fonts in my Instagram name?
Yes. Paste it into the Name field in Edit profile. Keep the username in plain letters, since usernames only allow letters, numbers, periods and underscores.
Do fancy fonts hurt my reach?
Not directly, but Instagram cannot read keywords written in fancy characters. Keep important words plain.
Does it work on TikTok and X?
Yes, anywhere you can paste text.
Is there a character limit?
Most styles use two bytes per letter, so a 150-character bio fits about 75 fancy letters. The bio tool shows the count.
