Questions
How do I convert WEBP to JPG?
Choose the WEBP file, tap JPG and download. Websites often save pictures as WEBP, which some apps and forms do not accept; JPG opens everywhere.
How do I convert PNG to JPG without a black background?
Transparent parts of a PNG have no colour, so the tool fills them with white by default. Pick another background colour under Background if you like.
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Yes on an iPhone, iPad or Mac in Safari, which can open HEIC. Other browsers cannot open HEIC, so the file is skipped with a note — on the iPhone, set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to shoot JPG directly.
What is AVIF and should I use it?
AVIF is the newest image format: about half the size of JPG at the same quality. Every current phone browser and Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari open it. Use JPG for forms and old apps, WEBP or AVIF for websites.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Conversion happens inside your browser, on your phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device, and the new file has no hidden location or camera details (EXIF).
