Updated October 2026

Private by design: your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded.

How to use

  1. 1 Choose an image. It is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
  2. 2 Tick the sizes you need (filter by platform) and pick Fill (crop) or Fit (letterbox with a background colour).
  3. 3 Click Resize. Every version is generated instantly.
  4. 4 Download each size, or Download all to get them one after another.

Why one image for every platform fails

Instagram wants 4:5 portrait, YouTube wants 16:9, Pinterest wants 2:3 and story formats want 9:16. Uploading the same square to all of them means each platform crops it differently, usually chopping off faces and text. This resizer takes one source image and outputs every size at native resolution so you control what gets cropped. The sizes list is maintained for 2026 and covers Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads and Open Graph previews.

Fill vs Fit

Fill scales the image to cover the whole canvas and crops the overflow, which looks best for photos. Fit keeps the whole image visible and adds a background colour to the empty bars, which is right for logos, screenshots and text graphics. If you need to choose exactly which part is kept, use the dedicated editors (YouTube Banner, Facebook Cover, LinkedIn Banner) that let you drag and zoom.

Output quality

Images are exported at 90 percent JPG quality by default, which stays well under every platform's file-size limit while being visually identical to the original. Choose PNG for graphics with sharp text and WebP when you need the smallest file for a website.

Questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens in your browser using the Canvas API.

Why is the quality lower than the original?

Only if your original is smaller than the target size; upscaling cannot add detail. Start from the largest version you have.

Can I resize many images at once?

This tool resizes one image to many sizes. For many images to one size, use the Image Compressor with a max width.

Does it keep the EXIF data?

No. Metadata such as location is removed, which is better for privacy on social media.

Which size is best for Instagram in 2026?

1080x1350 (4:5) for feed posts and 1080x1920 for stories and Reels.
