How Facebook pays creators in 2026
Facebook combined its Reels bonus, in-stream ads and Ads on Reels into a single Content Monetization program. Creators earn from ad revenue and performance on original Reels, longer videos, photos and text posts. Rates depend heavily on audience country and on whether the content is original.
Typical rates
Creator reports put US and Canadian audiences at roughly $0.80 to $4 per 1,000 monetized views, Western Europe slightly lower and South Asia, Africa and Latin America much lower. Reused or unoriginal clips earn little or nothing.
How to earn more
Post original Reels over 30 seconds, build a follower base in high-value countries, and add brand deals and affiliate links. Facebook pages often earn more from link clicks to their own site than from the monetization program itself.
