Questions
Which size should I use for Instagram, Reels and YouTube?
Instagram post: 1:1 (1080×1080) or 4:5 portrait (1080×1350). Reels, Stories and YouTube Shorts: 9:16 (1080×1920). YouTube thumbnail: 16:9 (1280×720). Tap the shape and the tool makes the photo exactly that size.
How do I make a passport size photo?
Tap "Passport", move the box so your face and shoulders fill it, and download. You get a 35×45 mm photo at 300 DPI (413×531 pixels), the size most passport, visa and exam forms ask for. Need a smaller file for a form? Run it through our Image Compressor.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Cropping happens inside your browser, on your phone or computer. Your photo never leaves your device.
Will the photo lose quality?
Choose "Full quality" to keep every pixel of the part you crop. The app sizes (like 1080×1080) are what Instagram and YouTube use anyway, so they look sharp there.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no watermark and no signup.
